With a population of 579, Breton is within easy driving distance of major centres such as Edmonton, Drayton Valley, Leduc, Red Deer, and Wetaskiwin. Breton offers the "down home" hospitality and friendliness that can only be found in a rural community.

The Village of Breton is located in Brazeau County at the junction of Secondary Highway 616 (east/west) and Highway 20 (north/south) in west central Alberta Canada.
